~~~ KOHLERIAS ~~~

Kohlerias are rhizomatous plants from tropical America, and range from small to large growing plants. Flowers are easily produced in clusters, are tubular, pouched shaped with spots about the face, and come in a variety of colors. New growth will sprout before the old growth is completely dead. Rhizomes like room to grow in a loose, airy potting mix. Let dry between watering to encourage rhizomatous growth. Kohlerias require around 12 hours of good bright light, even some sun, to promote compact growth and flowering. Kohlerias are in limited supply! Plants or rhizomes sent, depending upon availability!

	Karl Lindberg - $7.50 HUGE flowers of pale lavender mostly covered with large, deep purple spots. Green foliage with lighter veining. (Hyb.- unknown)
	Manchu - $7.50 Excellent variety! Flowers are dotted and bordered with scarlet, on a creamy background. Compact growing habit! Very free flowering! (Worley)
	Red Ryder - $7.50 Huge, bright red flowers with deeper red spotting. Medium green marbled foliage. Breathtaking blooms! (Worley)
	Regent - $7.50 Fringed, yellow flowers have purple spots. The foliage is dark green and velvety, with light silver veins. (Worley)
	Silver Feather - $7.50 Red-orange spots cover flowers of yellow (with orange highlights). The flower 'tube' is bright orange on the outside. Greenish-gray foliage is covered with silver veining in center, and radiates out to the leaf edges. The foliage is beautiful! (Boggan)
	Texas Rainbow - $7.50 Pink with heavy red dots on petals and throat. Medium green leaves, mottled with bronze pattern. (Martens)
	warszewiczii - $7.50 Unusual Flower! Pale green blooms with backwards-bending petals, covered with dark purple spots. Outside 'tube' has an attractive pink color and is quite 'fuzzy' with hairs. Tall grower. (species)
